Post Nord Danmark Rundt - August 18th and 20th

If you did not get enough bike races this summer (and who did?) you are in for a treat!

Post Nord Danmark Rundt (the Tour of Denmark) are in Vejle Municipality for both 3rd and 5th stage.

3rd stage includes Egtved and Give, where some of the toughest climbs of the king stage await the riders. At Egtved, the field must, among other things, up the climbs at Tørskind and Blue Hors, before hitting Rådhusbakken in Give, which was the goal of the DM in 2021. Give has proud cycling traditions, and 2022 will be another big year in the Sculpture City.

5th stage includes the classic entrance to Vejle, but where they have previously driven up Gl. Kongevej/ Chr. Winther's Vej, the riders have to climb the extremely steep Chr. Winthers vej, directly from Jellingvej. A road with an average of 16.3% and a maximum of 21%, Winther's Vej is perhaps the hardest climb in Denmark in connection with a bicycle race.

Two times up Chr. Winthers vej and five times up Kiddesvej. What a dream of a final stage of PostNord Danmark Rundt. Everything will presumably be at stake before the overall winner of the 31st edition of the PostNord Danmark Rundt can celebrate.
