Collect money for the annual Danmarksindsamlingen (The Denmark Collection) - January 27th

Listen to a good story, go for a nice walk and earn money for the Children's Danmarksindsamling (note; the story will be told in Danish).

Join this special nature fairy tale experience, when Marlene the bog wife reads the story about Akiko and the white deer, while you walk together through the Deer Park and make stops along the way.

By participating in the walk, you as a family not only get a nice morning with a good story. You are also helping to support 'Børnenes Danmarksindsamling - vi går sammen' (the Children's Danmark Collection - we walk togeher).

For every kilometer a child walks, the Novo Nordisk Foundation donates DKK 20 to the collection. The donation goes to DanChurchAid´s project in northern Uganda for the benefit of malnourished and undernourished children.

Read more about Danmarksindsamlingen on DR's website (site in Danish).

After the trip, all children will receive a diploma as proof of their participation and their contribution to a good cause.

So put on your boots and let's make a difference together. We meet at the red gate, Helligkildevej 80, 7100 Vejle.

The event is for families with children aged 3-8 years. Free admission - but remember to register.
