Social Run - feel the pulse of the city!

Join this cozy, FREE event where we celebrate community and fellowship – your chance to expand your network.

Run/walk thru’ the charming streets and shops of Vejle, while you meet other “Vejlensere”.

Social Run is the perfect opportunity to make new friends, explore the city and all its secrets stories. No matter how long you have lived in the area, you will have lots of fun.

Vejle MADfest (FOODfestival) - May 31st + June 1st

Vejle MADfest is Vejle's official food festival.

On Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1, the city's two squares - Søndertorv and Rådhustorvet - will be filled with stands where you can experience local restaurants and producers. Check out vendors here.

Vejle Sprog Café event - June 11th

Did you miss our successful international language exchange in December?

No worries! We're doing it all again on June 11th under the new title "Vejle Sprog Café."

This first edition will focus on Danish. There won't be a teacher, just someone to kick off the event & activities, and participants will help each other practice.

If you want to practice your Danish in the supportive company of other international speakers, join us on June 11th at 19.00/7pm at Spinderihallerne for a special evening.

Whether you're just starting out or already a confident speaker, come and practice your Danish in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. There is space for everyone - and Danes are more than welcome.

At the beginning of the event, we will assign you to a group based on your level, so you can best help each other practice Danish.

We are rounding of the Vejle Ambassador Network with a FREE summer party at Spinderihallerne.

Everyone is welcome - remember to sign up, as we have limited seats!

We will meet June 13th at 16.45/4.45pm.

🚀🎨 Pow! Zap! Calling all drawing nerds! Are you passionate about comic book and animation drawing? 💥✏️ Join us for a super-powered "draw & chat"! (in English 🙂)

An hour of creativity, camaraderie, and conversation on creating dynamic characters and captivating story boards.

Open BioLab

June 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th

On Thursdays the Biotechlab opens its doors from 3pm to 6pm to high school students that are interested in creative experiments.

Once a month there will be hands-on workshops with mycelium, algae, kombucha or slimemold that they can participate in as well.

There is no need for sign up - just drop by.

“Taxonomies”

June 13th

Join the opening of the exhibition “Taxonomies”, which showcases the collaboration between the BioTechLab, SDU, and Rosborg Gymnasium og HF.

A stunning collection of artworks that not only captivate the eye but also spark reflections on the interconnectedness of nature, humanity, and society.

Interactive Children's Concert - June 9th

Experience and take part in an adventurous universe of sound, song, movement and musical storytelling!

Three musicians - a flautist, a violinist and a guitarist - from Vejle Music and Culture School invite you to an interactive concert where they "travel" with the children into an adventurous universe of sound, song, movement and musical storytelling.

Open Mic Night - June 20th

The stage is yours when its Open Mic Night in Spinderihallerne on Thursday June 20th.

Whether you sing, play an instrumental concert, do poetry slam, reading, magic or maybe your dog can juggle - then register as a participant for the evening's event.

The stage is open from 19.00 - 20.30.

The Network Inn is a laid-back networking meeting.

The first of a new monthly event that will take place in Fredericia (June 6th), Kolding (August 1st), and Vejle (September 5th).

Aimed at Danes and expats; job seekers, the employed, and company owners, it will bring together people with different experiences of working in Denmark. It will provide support for one another, share experiences, and aim to be a safe place for discussion and learning.

There will be a monthly speaker, time for questions, a discussion, and of course the chance to connect and network with new faces.

Planned by Fredericia-based Dominic Stevenson.

June 5th is Denmark's Constitution Day (Grundlovsdag). It is the anniversary of the first Danish constitution; the Constitution of 1849, and the subsequent constitutions of 1915 and 1953.

Constitution Day is a national holiday and is marked with political meetings around the country. In some collective agreements, the day is recognized as a half or full day off. However, Grundlovsdag is not a Danish national holiday, as it is known from other countries.

This year is the 175th anniversary of the first constitution. The Danish Parliament and DR will transform Constitution Day into a larger and more festive national celebration of democracy, community and constitution.
