Festival of Lights - Diwali "i" Danmark - November 2nd

INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF DENMARK (IAD) invites you to join the Festival of Lights - Diwali "i" Danmark. 
 
This is an OPEN EVENT (All Nationalities are WELCOME), please bring your family & friends together to celebrate the festival of lights.
 
Marking this year is very special, its our community celebrations with 10 years anniversary. Diwali is all about coming together and celebrating happy moments with everyone.
 
NOTE sign up deadline is this Sunday (the 27th).

Vejle Sprog Café - Oct. 29th and Nov. 19th, 7.30-8.30pm

"Stativ, stakit, kasket, stativ, stakit, kasket".

Even for native Danes, this tongue twister is a challenge! We had so much fun practicing it and other Danish phrases at Vejle Sprog Café in June.

SO we were excited to announce four new dates this fall - still 2 left!

Mark your calendars and join us for more fun and language practice on October 29th and November 19th! 

For the November session there will be a surprise to talk about (as it is Denmark, it might include something to eat ;))

Halloween for kids - November 2nd

Bring the kids for a festive (.. And spooky) parade during halloween.
 
A hundred kids from Vejle Musik- og Kulturskole are coming - so there will be plenty of company walking from Bryggen to Rådhustorvet at 11 o'clock.

Reading Club Vejle - November 8th

Pilot informal meeting of a reading club in Vejle. Come and inspire fellow readers with a current book you are reading. Be ready to share your insights and hear others in an informal setting.

How to buy a house in Denmark - November 4th

Skov Advokater and Sydbank invites you to an introduction on buying real estate in Denmark on November 4th at 17.00 (5pm).

The event will be about subjects such as;

  • the showing of the house with the agent
  • negotiations
  • conditions for buying real estate in Denmark
  • options of financing
  • requirements to financing

The event is free of charge, but you must sign up before Ocotber 28th as there is a limited number of seating.

IDCN Event for accompanying partners - November 6th

 

Are you an accompanying partner, living in Vejle Municipality? 
 
Then this event is for you - if your partner doesn't work in one of the member companies you can sign up as a Vejle resident.
 
The topic will be “How to start your own business as an expat”, and the agenda includes presentation by the expert Madalina Henter, from Expat Solutions, and conversations with internationals who will share their success stories, challenges and lessons learned in entrepreneurship.
 
There will also be a Networking and Career Fair, with representatives from IDCN Jutland-Funen Corporate Members, Service Providers and guests, a great opportunity for insights and face-to-face networking.
